On amenable semigroups of rational functions

چکیده
We characterize left and right amenable semigroups of polynomials one complex variable with respect to the composition operation. also prove a number results about arbitrary rational functions. In particular, we show that under quite general conditions semigroup functions is if only it subsemigroup centralizer some function.

We generalize a theorem of Frey by giving sufficient conditions for a subsemigroup T of a cancellative left amenable semigroup S to be left amenable. In particular, we show that if S is left amenable and T does not contain a free subsemigroup on two generators, then T is left amenable as well.
